Timur TÜRKMEN was born in 1971 in Kirkuk, which is within the borders of the National Pact. His family immigrated to Istanbul in 1982 and continued his life here. He started as a graphic designer in 1994. His passion for photography, which started with analog machines in the early 2000s, continued with pinhole and dark room studies, and my passion for photography continues at full speed even though I have paused my adventure with analog machines and dark room with dSLR machines in the following periods.

Due to his profession, he shoots products and catalogs for advertising agencies, promotional visuals for use in calendars, indoor and outdoor shots for use in his designs. Since he has a Master Teaching diploma approved by the Ministry of National Education, he teaches other graphic applications used in computer environment, especially Photoshop in various educational institutions. In addition, the Photography Workshop, of which he is one of the founders, organizes Photography activities with 216 photograph groups.
