Mehmet Suat Ergin was born in Diyarbakır in 1960. He still lives in Diyarbakır. He graduated from the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. He worked as a Hospital Manager at Dicle University. He was interested in photography from time immemorial, but it started too late. He first met photography at a photography workshop of Coşkun Aral. In the following years, he started his photography adventure with Özcan Yurdalan's photography workshop and then received basic photography training. He took photographs in Diyarbakır and its surroundings, Urfa, Mardin, Elazig, Istanbul, Ankara and many other cities domestically, and abroad in India, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Arabia and the Balkans. He tries to take and document all kinds of photographs at every opportunity to visit and see places. He thinks that taking pictures is an addiction to him and that if he doesn't take pictures wherever he goes, it will disappear. He participated in many photography exhibitions and nature walks and continues to work as a member of Fotono21 Photography association.
