Hasan Akçay was born in 1978 in Diyarbakır. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Diyarbakır. He graduated from 19 Mayıs University Bafra Vocational School Computer Programming in 1997.

Due to his devotion to art, he graduated from Dicle University Ziya Gökalp Education Faculty Painting Teacher in 2002. He worked as a Visual Arts Teacher in Gaziantep Şehitkamil Beylerbeyi Primary School between 2002-2006. Between 2006 and 2013, he worked as a Computer Technologies Formative Teacher in Diyarbakır Sur Yavuz Selim Secondary School. He still continues his duty, which he started as a Visual Arts Teacher and Project Manager in Diyarbakır Science and Art Center in 2013. AKÇAY, who is the Vice President of Fotono21 Photography Association, has participated in many exhibitions in the country.

AKÇAY, who served as a Board Member of Diyarbakırspor Club in the 2019-2020 season, is married and has two children.
