Born in Istanbul in 1969. Graduated from Istanbul Technical University Environmental Engineering Division and then from Marmara University Institute of Fine Arts Photography master program. Graduated from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University Photography program with a Ph. D title. Became an Associate Professor in 2011 and Professor in 2017. Started photography as an amateur in 1985, mainly works on nature, humans and architecture, specializes on digital technics. Presented 22 photography shows, 5 personal exhibitions, attended many “mixed exhibitions” and his works took part in many types of media. Gives photography seminars, writes educative articles on photography in different magazines and web sites. He has 4 photography education books published. At present, he is in charge of the Dean of Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts and also works as the head of the Photography Department.
