A dermatologist based in Jakarta , Edwin is the first Artist of Federation of Photographic Society Indonesia (A.FPSI) in 1985 and Honorary Excellency (Hon. E.FPSI , 2020) and Honorary  from Candra Naya Photographic Society (Hon.CNPS) (2007) . In International, he received ARPS (Associate of Royal Photographic Society)-UK , AFIAP (Artist Federation International de l’Art Photographique) , GPU-Hermes (Global Photographic Union) and QPSA (Photographic Society of America ) 

He is the Founder of Art Photography of Indonesia foundation.

He authored a Coffee table art-photo book "The Soul" 2021. 

He was the Chairman of Candra Naya Photographic Society in 2008-2015, the oldest photo club in Jakarta, an award winning photographer such as Lan Jing San Photography Award (2009), 2nd Place of Hamdan International Photography Award-HIPA (2013), Medal in Emirates Photo Competition (2014),  China Jinan International Photographic Biennial (2012, 2014) and many more.
