101 Indonesia Diversity

Indonesia is the world's largest island country and the 14th-largest country by land area, at

1,904,569 square kilometres (735,358 square miles). With more than 270 million people,

Indonesia is the world's fourth-most populous country and the most populous Muslimmajority

country.

Indonesia consist of 1.340 recognised ethnics groups spread in more than 17.000 islands.

We have a motto of "Unity in Diversity" signifies the country's myriad of cultures and

ethnicities with all its people living together largely in peace.

In this exhibition we can see the daily Hindu rituals practised on the island of Bali such as

Ogoh Ogoh Parade, Rejang Sacred Dance, Fire Dance, “Melasti” Ceremony etc, the famous

Borobudur temple as the largest Buddhist temple in Asia, the semi normadic huntergatherer

lifestyles of the Mentawai People, Bani Tribes in Papua and Dayak Tribes in

Kalimantan, the various Javanese Cultures from Java Island.

Beautiful Landscapes of the famous Mount Bromo in East Java, “Gigi Hiu” (Shark Teeth)

Beach in Lampung island, stunning waterfalls in various location, the unique underwaters

view in Indonesia and the beautiful cityscapes of Modern Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia.

Not only the people and landscape, but we also have the specific animal for Indonesia :

Komodo dragon in Komodo Island, “Cendrawasih” (Birds of Paradise) and Orang Utan.

It is a non profit organization founded by enthusiastic photographers who has a

dedication and passion in photography.

Our main activities emphasis in social and humanitarian that relates to Photography.

We are open to any cooperation and collaboration, nationally and internationally.

To build awareness and appreciation of the community to care and proactive in the art

of photography. We connect, encourage, and expand cooperation, communication,

collaboration and networking with national and international photographic

organizations and individuals, national and international to the development of

photography in Indonesia.

Our Vision

to provide coaching and support to the Indonesian photographer so he

or she is able to compete in international photography community. To give high

appreciation to the art photographers.

Art Photography of Indonesia is a Club Member of PSA (Photographic Society of

America), Member of ILFIAP (FIAP) and Member of FPSI (Federation of

Photographic Society of Indonesia)

In this “101 Indonesia Diversity” Photo Exhibition, Art Photography of Indonesia

collaborates with Candra Naya Photographic Society (CNPS) as one of the oldest

Photo Club in Indonesia (73 years old) to have a joint exhibition.
