She was born in Mersin in 1983. Due to her father's profession, she completed her primary, secondary and high school education in various cities and graduated from Ankara University Veterinary Faculty in 2007. She continues her academic career and still works at the same university. Thanks to meeting her husband, she started to take photos actively and continues to take pictures alone or with her husband whenever she finds time. She has been working with FSK, of which she has been a member, since 2016.

Being a woman… 

You are born as a girl, you grow up with a 'PRESSURE' on you. Instead of being a child and enjoying your life, you are exposed to social taboos. Finally, you can't stand the pressure, you 'CHOKE'... 

Over the time, you grow yourselfas a a well-groomed woman. This time, you become an easy woman in the eyes of many. You will be harassed, even 'RAPED'! But you are the culprit because you are on the street late at night, you are wearing a skirt or shorts and unfortunately you have the social 'SLEDGEHAMMER' on your head due to sick minds... 

You become a mother, you cook at home, you sew. You dedicate your self completely to your home. However, it is not enough and physical/spiritual 'VIOLENCE' begins at home. Non-stop shouting and insults… You want a divorce butyou cannot be protected despite all your screams. He can't make himself proud, in the middle of the road you'll be 'GET STABBED!' 

So as you can see, violence starts with being born a girl. Being a young girl or a mother doesn't change the situation… In 2021, 280 women were killed by men and 217 women were found suspiciously dead in this country. Every day, news of violence/harassment or death against a woman is in the news... 

Everything can change, let's just take a step. Everything starts with the first step.
