I was born in 1963 in Mersin. I graduated from Marmara University Atatürk Education Faculty, Painting Department and Anadolu University Photography and Cameraman Associate Degree. I have been taking photographs with an amateur spirit since my university years. I focused on macro photography subjects in natural life. I integrate my interest in exploring nature and seeing new places with photography. My interest in nature and underwater, I received diving training at the Balıkadamlar Sports Club in 2004. In 2008, I reinforced my basic photography knowledge with the master underwater photographer Recep Dönmez and started underwater photography in 2009.

Whenever I have time, I continue to produce photographs underwater, in the city and in nature. 

I always care about learning and sharing my knowledge. Since 2008, I have supported the International Marmara Festival, the Living Marmara Underwater Photography Contest, organized by the Turkish Balıkadamlar Sports Club. I voluntarily supported Basic Photography and Underwater Photography seminars for many years in the photography department of the club.

Since the day I started underwater photography, I have participated in many underwater competitions organized by different institutions, and I received degrees in various branches in these competitions. Again, my photographs took place in many underwater group exhibitions.

Recently, wide angle compositions in under water, long exposure and minimalist photographs in city and nature attract my attention.

I am a member of TÜRK BALIKADAMLAR KULÜBÜ, SUFOD and FOTOĞRAFMETRE associations.
