Personal Information
Biography
I was born in Konya in 1966. I am originally from Ordu. Due to the conditions, I always had to complete my education in different provinces. I graduated from primary school in Denizli, secondary school in Malatya, high school in Denizli and university in Izmir Ege University Faculty of Fisheries. After working as a pet-shop business in Denizli for 4 years, I started working in a private company and retired after 22 years of non-stop work.
I started taking pictures with an analog camera that I bought during my university years. I was both studying and earning my pocket money by selling the photos I took on special occasions and trips. Later, I was away from Photography for a long time while talking about work and life struggle. When I met my teacher Mehmet ÇAKIR in 2007, my love for photography was reignited. In the same year, I was one of the founding members of Defsad and worked as a treasurer in the management of the association between 2015-2016.
I received my first prize in 2010, in the State Photography Competition, in the Natural Life in Anatolia category. In the years that followed, I won dozens of awards and exhibitions in domestic and international competitions.
I mainly benefit from Denizli's nature and historical buildings to take photographs. I enjoy taking photos with macro, nature, history and culture content and I enjoy doing it very much.
Taking photographs is a branch of art that makes people very, very happy.
